1950s Finnish Standing Ashtray by Lisa Johansson-Pape for Orno

1950s, Finland.  This 1950s standing ashtray, designed by famed designer Lisa Johansson-Pape for Orno, features a wrapped leather body and a sterling silver base. There is a hole on the top of the ashtray which allows for directly into piece. The base is a receptacle that unscrews which allows for quick and easy emptying and cleaning of the ashtray.
